**General Function:**
As a Coffee Shop Barista, you will be responsible for reviewing and filling customer orders, handling food safely, and maintaining a clean work area. Providing courteous and friendly customer service is essential.

Reports to: District Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Managers, Food Service Director, Coffee Shop Department Manager
Positions reporting to you: None

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Provide prompt, friendly customer service and engage with customers.
- Greet customers and learn their names.
- Assist customers with their needs, including product guidance and carrying items.
- Answer calls and take orders.
- Work as part of a team.
- Handle food safely and ensure cleanliness.
- Manage food freshness, stock levels, and invoices.
- Operate the register and process payments.
- Maintain personal hygiene and adhere to policies.
- Report to work on schedule.

**Secondary Duties:**
- Wash dishes, order supplies, price products, and assist in other store areas.

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:**
- Follow detailed instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Follow verbal and demonstrated instructions.

**Education and Experience:**
Less than high school or equivalent, with up to six months related experience.

**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to exert force up to 50 pounds.
- Visual acuity and physical activities like climbing, standing, lifting, etc.

**Working Conditions:**
Store environment with noise, hazards, and temperature extremes.

**Equipment Used:**
Coffee shop tools, register system, cleaning equipment.
