Business Analyst 1

Day-to-Day
· Audits the Coupa supplier changes and reviews transactions for compliance with established policies and procedures on an as needed basis.
· Must be comfortable with calling suppliers, establishing trust, and ensuring suppliers follow up on requested information to ensure suppliers receive payment, and/or update their data information as requested.
· Responds to internal or external issues and resolves, tracking the resolution
· Monitors overall workflow to ensure timely completion of projects and daily work requirements and meets defined customer service level agreements
· Assists with special projects within assigned department or as part of cross-functional teams as required or assigned.
· Recommends changes, updates, and processes for continuous improvement in areas of expertise.
· Meets established daily/weekly metrics
· Resolves issues arising from internal department functions, or as brought forth by internal or external customers.
· Tracks issues to resolution within department and in partnership with other groups.
· Assists with special projects within assigned department or as part of cross-functional teams as required or assigned.

Position Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of applicable job experience required
- Demonstrated skills in:

Systems and Tools:
- Must have experience or familiarity with:
- Coupa
- Oracle
- ServiceNow
- Outlook
- Concur
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) required
- Experience with general business or accounting systems relevant to the assigned department
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of basic accounting processes and procedures
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Project management and training experience within area of expertise preferred
Work Environment:
- Must have a private in-home office setup
- Must have secured and reliable internet connection
- Will provide a laptop and docking station
- Candidate is responsible for furnishing all other equipment (e.g., monitors, chair, desk, etc.)
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred
- No specific certifications required, but relevant certifications may be a plus
Disqualifiers:
- Poor communication skills
- Lack of basic Microsoft Office proficiency
