We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Hempstead, New York. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in gap analysis, data governance, and business requirement documentation to deliver actionable insights and drive projects forward. This is a long-term contract opportunity for professionals with a strong background in agile methodologies and technical tools.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and align solutions with business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business requirements.
• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel and Ellucian Banner to analyze and present data effectively.
• Implement and oversee data governance strategies to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Manage change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication across teams.
• Facilitate AB testing to validate solutions and optimize processes.
• Work within Agile frameworks to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Coordinate with IAM and AWS IAM systems to enhance security and streamline operations.
• Prepare comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to support decision-making.
• Monitor project progress and provide actionable feedback to ensure alignment with goals.• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
• Proficiency in gap analysis and creating detailed business requirement documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word for data handling and reporting.
• Experience with Ellucian Banner and IAM systems, including AWS IAM.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and AB testing processes.
• Demonstrated ability to implement effective data governance strategies.
• Proven track record in managing change initiatives and stakeholder communication.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
