We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In this role, you will leverage your analytical expertise to drive financial outcomes, develop reporting tools, and provide insightful data analysis that supports business objectives. This position requires a proactive individual who can adapt to evolving priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making and drive business results.
• Build and maintain comprehensive financial models and reports tailored to organizational needs.
• Design and implement automated tools for reporting and forecasting to enhance efficiency.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports to ensure consistent tracking of financial performance.
• Handle ad-hoc reporting requests and other related assignments as needed.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies by performing data mining and scrubbing activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to communicate findings and align strategies.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial reports and models.
• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel and Access capabilities.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with a problem-solving mindset.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to synthesize information from multiple data sources and derive meaningful insights.
• Attention to detail to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in data.
• Experience with data mining and cleaning processes.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact across all organizational levels.
