Job Description:
Join this rapidly growing and highly collaborative organization as a key member of our investment tech team, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to help build our systems and processes from the ground up. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in investment operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving business process improvements, managing system implementations, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of our investment operations. Responsibilities:
- Business Process Analysis: Document and analyze business processes for investment operations, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Requirements Gathering: Define and document detailed business requirements, user stories, and use cases, performing gap analysis to bridge current and future system needs.
- System Implementation: Support system upgrades and new feature rollouts, specifically for SS&C CAMRA or Precision LM, including configuration and end-user support.
- Quality Assurance: Create and execute test plans for system integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure all system changes are thoroughly tested.
- Project Management: Manage projects from start to finish, maintain project documentation, and facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams.
- Data and Reporting: Use intermediate SQL queries for data validation and ad-hoc reporting, and create dashboards to monitor system performance and efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within investment management, asset management, or other financial services.
- Extensive hands-on experience with SS&C CAMRA or SS&C Precision LM (end-to-end loan servicing, accounting, and reporting platform).
- Deep knowledge of investment operations processes, including trade processing, portfolio management, reconciliation, corporate actions, and accounting.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, bank loans, and derivatives.
- Knowledge of middle and back-office functions and credit lifecycle management.
- Prior experience in a heavily regulated financial environment.
- Proficiency with SQL for data analysis and validation.
- Experience with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $165,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
