Business Analyst (Intermediate)

• Position: Business Analyst (Intermediate)
• Compensation: $45 - 50-/hr C2C - 1099 OR $85,000/yr W2

Scope of Work:

• Gather and document business and technical requirements and integration points from stakeholders.
• Facilitate Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions covering business processes, system requirements, and user needs.
• Ensure requirements are clear, comprehensive, and aligned with business and technical objectives.
• Create detailed technical documentation including requirements, specifications, traceability matrices, designs, and testing plans.
• Review applicable deliverables to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Schedule and coordinate technical integrations involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Organize and deliver training sessions and technical presentations.
• Facilitate analysis, design, and planning meetings for both business and technical purposes.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience producing technical documentation related to requirements, design, process/data flow, testing, and training.
• 5+ years of experience with data consolidation, editing, and applying normalization rules.
• Experience in scheduling integrations across technical resource teams.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate training and planning sessions.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft M365 Suite.
• Familiarity with Florida Administrative Code 60GG-2 and State of Florida Cybersecurity Standards.
• Solid understanding of business process modeling and system analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with State of Florida agency

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
