We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Business Analyst to join our Data Science Team. The ideal candidate should have experience in requirements gathering, project delivery and working with cross-functional teams to deliver feasible solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Business analysis and project management of various enhancements and new application build-outs.
• Define detailed business and functional specification documents while working closely with business and technical teams.
• Conduct user research, process mapping to enhance efficiency and identify automation opportunities.
• Analyze data requirements and identify disparate data sources required for consolidation and report generation.
• Troubleshoot and assess existing business processes, workflows, escalating risks with mitigation strategies as needed.
• Participate in the testing process with a focus on validating solutions align to business needs.
• Help with coordination in an agile environment, ensuring smooth execution of deliverables.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science; Economics; Finance) required. Master’s preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL, advanced knowledge of excel and preferably python
• Expertise in agile methodologies, process optimization and compliance.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; good sense of urgency, resourcefulness and independence.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both verbal and written).
  
  

The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
