Position location: Lansing, MI. Hybrid Role with 2 days onsite from day 1 - Flexible days on site. No remote only option.
Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to support project and work request needs, focusing on implementing new IT solutions to enhance efficiencies and public support. Responsibilities include acting as the liaison between clients and stakeholders, facilitating requirements elicitation, and supporting operational activities within the BA team. Ideal candidates will have experience with CLIENT processes, facilitation, gap fit analysis, and requirements refinement for ongoing projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the liaison among clients, project stakeholders, and the BA team.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and analysis sessions.
- Support operational activities and contribute to team efforts.
Requirements include:
- Minimum 12 years of general Business Analyst experience.
- Experience with requirements elicitation, gap fit analysis, and process reengineering.
- Strong facilitation skills and experience with user stories in Agile environments.
- Proficiency in documenting functional and technical specifications, supporting data warehousing, and developing RFPs.
- Minimum of 7 years conducting business process reviews and documentation.
- Minimum of 5 years managing user stories in Agile projects.
- Minimum of 2 years working with senior management and supporting IT solutions for public use.
- Educational requirement: Bachelor's Degree.
