Overview

A Business Systems Analyst (BSA) analyzes business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement, recommending solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability, often bridging the gap between technical solutions and business objectives. Should have Retail Banking domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data, processes, and systems to identify problems and opportunities for improvement.
• Gather and document user requirements to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Design and implement solutions to streamline processes, automate tasks, and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to understand business needs and communicate solutions effectively.
• Participate in project management activities, including defining scope, creating timelines, and tracking progress.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of database systems, software applications, and IT infrastructure.
• Retail Banking domain knowledge; mainframe and SQL knowledge; familiarity with JIRA.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

• Strong analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of problems.
• Ability to identify problems, analyze them, and develop effective solutions.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Systems Analyst with knowledge of retail banking domain preferred.

Location: Dallas, TX

Salary Range - $90,000-$120,000 per year
