Business Analyst – Insights & Market Research [Sr. Mgr]

Experience: 4+ years in market research, insights, or business analytics

We’re seeking a Business Analyst to join the strategy team supporting LG Electronics, with a focus on Media Solutions (MS) and Home Solutions (HS). This role is responsible for uncovering insights that inform brand strategy, retail strategy, and digital experience.

You will support teams across the group—from brand and content strategy to digital experience and retail—by turning market and consumer data into actionable insights. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in market research, data interpretation, and business intelligence, who thrives on translating information into clear strategic direction for marketers, creatives, and planners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify whitespace opportunities, category shifts, and evolving consumer behaviors.
  • Analyze customer data, industry trends, and brand performance metrics to inform brand, retail, and digital strategies with insight-driven recommendations.
  • Serve as a power user of market and consumer data platforms such as MRI, Mintel, Statista, and OpenBrand maximizing the value of our subscription services.
  • Manage additional proprietary platforms (e.g., LG CDP, VOC, CRM) to extract relevant insights.
  • Support the implementation, analysis and reporting of market research studies, including surveys and customer interviews.
  • Synthesize complex findings into clear, compelling narratives that guide strategic planning, campaign development, and content creation.
  • Provide insight support for the new business efforts, helping craft winning proposals through category and audience intelligence.
  • Collaborate closely with brand, retail, digital, and content strategists to ensure data is actively used in planning and creative workflows.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in business analysis, market research, or marketing insights, ideally within an agency or client-side marketing function.
  • Demonstrated experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, competitive landscaping, and trend forecasting.
  • Strong proficiency with syndicated research tools such as MRI, Mintel, Statista, and digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Tableau.
  • Ability to distill large datasets into succinct, visually compelling presentations and strategic recommendations.
  • Curious, analytical, and collaborative mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
