Overview

As a Business Analyst, you’ll be asked to serve as the liaison between our customer and the development team using the Agile software development methodology.

Contributions

  • Lead the collection, capture, and management of mission user needs from prioritization, concept development, and feature writing to support development and deployment.
  • Help define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.
  • Must have experience managing Agile/Information Technology related projects and be well versed in software development life cycle and project management methodologies.
  • Support managing customer expectations for project deliverables, manage stakeholder communications, and help implement an effective system of project governance.
  • Apply different techniques to facilitate meetings and workshops, create a shared understanding with stakeholders, and engage team members to produce product and portfolio roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to decompose large epics into features and user stories that can be understood and approved by members of the development team.
  • Document Acceptance Criteria in stories in a way that both development team and business stakeholders can understand and agree on the content.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 5+ years experience with IT implementations
  • Must have knowledge of Steampunk DI integrated approach
  • Unique combination of being business-minded and highly analytical while also having a strong and deep technical background in Salesforce.com
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and deliver results with aggressive timelines
  • Able and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment (conference calls, Skype, face-to-face)
  • Ability to produce high quality documentation and analysis
  • Take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quickly
  • Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile Scrum methodology
