Agile Business Analyst

Hybrid - 3 days per week Onsite in either St Paul, MN or Marlboro, MA - LOCAL
Likely to last at least through the rest of this calendar year, and possibly through most of next year. This is an immediate need.
Need to be experienced with large data structures/Data driven environments.
Industry experience (Medical device/Pharma) is a plus.
Agile Business Analyst collaborates with stakeholders to translate user needs into actionable user stories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and agile methodologies. They focus on gathering requirements, conducting research, and documenting information in a way that is easily understood and communicated to technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, concise user stories. Define acceptance criteria for user stories, ensuring they are well-defined and testable. Utilize various business analysis techniques to gather information, analyze business needs, and identify potential solutions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with other agile team members, including developers, product owners, and scrum masters, to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. Coordinate with other workstreams, vendors, and subject matter experts to build a strong knowledge base. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring everyone understands the project goals and progress.
- Agile Methodologies: Participate in Agile project cycles, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews. Stay up-to-date on the latest Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Documentation: Document requirements, user stories, and other relevant information in a clear and concise manner. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible to all team members.
- Project Management: Assist with project planning, scheduling, and execution. Help to manage project risks and issues.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Business Analysis: Experience with business analysis techniques, such as requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software and tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management platforms.
- Industry Knowledge: Depending on the specific role, knowledge of specific industries or business areas may be required.
In essence, an Agile Business Analyst is a key player in ensuring that projects align with business needs, are delivered efficiently and effectively, and contribute to the company's overall goals.
