United Global Technologies is hiring: IT Business Analyst in Houston

Worked as an IT Business Analyst in a trading environment(preferable Front Office and/or Middle Office) Understanding of Exchange Traded Derivatives Knowledge of Commodity Trading - Oil and Gas Trade Life Cycle Team Player

Implementing a new front-to-middle office trade capture platform that supports commodities derivatives trading. This BA will play a key role in the U.S. rollout, working closely with traders and business stakeholders to support pre-trade and algo trading workflows.

What They're Looking For

Please prioritize true analysts with strong communication skills and relevant front-office trading system experience.

• Seasoned Business Analyst (not QA, trade support, or developer profiles)

• Experience supporting pre-trade or middle office trading systems

• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, algo trading, EMS/OMS tools, and market data integrations

• Prior experience working with commodity traders (gas, power, crude) or financial derivatives teams

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

• Ideally has experience with or understanding of ETRM platforms

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with TT, TradingScreen, Bloomberg

• Light technical skills (Python, SQL, etc.) are a plus but not required

Not a Fit If:

• The candidate is primarily from a testing, QA, or support background

• Experience is limited to post-trade or back-office functions

• No experience working with front-office systems or trading teams

All roles under this program are hybrid, and expects 2–3 days onsite weekly in Houston.
