The ideal candidate will analyze, interpret, and refine business processes to enhance the efficiency of logistics and distribution operations. This role involves gathering and evaluating data, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing solutions to streamline operations and drive business growth.Analyze current logistics and distribution operations to identify areas for improvement, driving efficiency and cost reduction.Collaborate with various departments, including supply chain, inventory, and finance teams, to gather data and requirements for business analysis.Develop performance standards and business process improvements for carriers and business partners, focusing on Cost, Quality, and Service.Prepare reports and dashboards based on data analysis, providing insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) for management.Develop and maintain business models and forecasting tools to support logistics decision-making.Assist in the development and implementation of new logistics systems and software, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Monitor and track logistics & distribution metrics to identify trends and suggest action plans to optimize operations.Communicate findings and suggestions to key stakeholders and follow-up to ensure recommendations are executed.Provide support during audits, process evaluations, and performance reviewsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in logistics, distribution or supply chain management.Strong knowledge of logistics & distribution systems, business analytics, and process improvement methodologies.High proficiency in data analysis tools (Mainly Excel) and proficiency in Power BI or similar dashboard tools. Experience in ERP systems would be valuable.Ability to understand complex logistics and distribution processes and translate them into actionable insights.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with SAP, TM, and WMS.Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.Worksite:The PIM Brands Global Headquarters in Park Ridge, New JerseyThe role requires working on-site: Monday thru Thursday. Work from home/remotely on a rotating Friday schedule.Summer Fridays between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekendWe are proud to offer:The pay range for this position is $80,00.00to $90,000.00.
