We are currently looking for a Full Time IT Business Analyst to join our IT Business Analyst Team team located at the WinStar IT Data Center.
Summary:
Works with all levels of the organization to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs and documents the capabilities needed to deliver desired business outcomes.
Responsibilities:

* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
* Facilitate and participate in quality peer and stakeholder reviews of requirement artifacts to ensure requirements are complete, consistent, comprehensible, and are signed-off/approved
* Maintain and reconcile forward and backward traceability of requirements
* Serves as a liaison with stakeholders / internal customers of IT, for understanding and translating the business context, immediate needs, as well as their longer-term vision for the initiatives
* Develop and describe a sufficiently deep and comprehensive understanding of both, the business objectives/ outcomes and the detailed requirements of the stakeholder departments
* Proactively work with stakeholder department teams to improve business process efficiency between current and desired state
* Translate conceptual business and user requirements into functional or technical requirements in a comprehensible manner to the whole project team
* Assist with determination of a suitable solution and/or modification of an existing solution, to best serve the short-term and long-term needs of the stakeholders/internal customers
* Develop an understanding of cost and financial implications overall of the business problem and solution options
* Where applicable, assist the QA teams with preparing and executing test plans - Unit Testing/System testing
* Facilitate the business process level UAT with stakeholders/internal customers and securing sign-offs
* Utilize industry standard tools and methodologies to elicit business and user requirements
* Develop and utilize standard templates for requirements gathering and communication
* Performs all other duties as assigned
