RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a Business Systems Analyst.

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support a growing privacy-focused development team. This individual will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, with a primary focus on gathering and documenting requirements, writing user stories, and ensuring the backlog is actively progressing. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation, be comfortable working in an Agile environment, and have experience with systems undergoing cloud-based transformations (AWS preferred).

Responsibilities:

• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure accurate and actionable requirements
• Gather and document comprehensive business and technical requirements for development initiatives
• Create clear, concise user stories and maintain a well-groomed backlog
• Collaborate closely with engineers to communicate API-related and other technical requirements
• Support ongoing efforts to automate privacy-related ETL processes in accordance with government regulations
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure stories align with product vision and roadmap
• Contribute to documentation efforts on internal platforms such as Chalk
• Utilize JIRA for backlog and ticket management (training available if needed)
• Develop and maintain process flows as needed to support system and process understanding
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
• Demonstrated experience acting as a liaison between business users and technical teams
• Strong understanding of APIs and ability to communicate technical requirements to engineers
• Proficiency in gathering and documenting both business and technical requirements
• Experience writing user stories and participating in backlog refinement
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to data environments including ETL pipelines and/or SQL
• Understanding of privacy regulations or experience in privacy-focused projects
• Project management experience
• Experience creating process flows
• Background working in Agile/Scrum development environments
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
