Business Analyst Procore - Job Description

Subject Matter experts (SMEs) are the drivers of our continued growth and success. With their commitment to innovation, these SME/analysts define, develop, and help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity. We’re currently searching for an experienced Procore SME/business analyst with Procore and business analysis experience to help guide our organization to the future. From researching progressive systems solutions to evaluating their impacts, the ideal candidate will be a detailed planner, expert communicator, top-notch analyst, and a seasons SME with regard to Procore. This person should also be wholly committed to the discovery and development of innovative solutions in an ever-changing digital landscape.

Objectives of this role

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Procore and guide users with best practices, and systems and financial guidance
• Perform research and analysis on financial and operational systems and communicate with all stakeholders
• Drive awareness of requirements across business units and identify gap opportunities to address through introduction of new processes, updated Procore configuration, and improved data management
• Serve as thought leader for technical and business processes, developing systems prototypes in Procore that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels
• Create and implement precise management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels
• Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development
• Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability
  
  

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across business units (example: operations, finance, HR, IT) to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams
• Evaluate, analyze, and communicate business & system requirements on a continuing basis, maintain business processes, including status report to Horizons lead
• Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation
• Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations
• Working with the business, make limited configurations to Procore with the advanced approval of the business
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with Procore in an oversight, business analyst, and configurator role
• Proven experience in generating documentation, business requirements, and reports
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights
  
  

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
• Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio
• Ability to manage user testing
