Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Primary point of contact for external IT vendors and service providers. Facilitate the procurement process, including sourcing vendors, evaluating, negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts.
- Monitor vendor performance and service level agreements to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of services; coordinate and resolve any vendor related performance issues.
- Collaborate with IT leadership team to develop and monitor the IT budget, ensuring alignment with business priorities and financial goals.
- Works with the finance team to prepare regular financial reports, including budget vs. actual analysis, cost forecasting, and variance explanations.
- Identifies potential cost-saving opportunities or budget risks to improve the cost-efficiency of IT operations.
- Develops, manages, and reports out on key performance indicators (KPIs) and associated dashboards related to IT operations, service delivery, budget compliance, and vendor relationships.
- Continuously assess and improve internal processes related to vendor management, IT contract lifecycle, and budgeting.

Summary: This position collaborates closely with IT leadership, procurement, and finance to ensure that vendor contracts, renewals, budgets, and performance metrics are accurately maintained and effectively reported. This role will support the contract lifecycle process, track IT expenditures, and produce reports that inform data-driven decision-making.

- Continuously assess and improve internal processes related to vendor management, IT contract lifecycle, and budgeting.
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred. 6+ years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Certifications in contract management or vendor management are a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in vendor management, Procurement, contract administration, or IT financial management in a manufacturing, technology-driven, or similar environment.
- Experience in supporting or coordinating vendor relationships, contract lifecycles, and budgeting processes.
- Experience managing Microsoft licensing a plus.
- Working knowledge of systems, services, and software commonly used in an IT or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with project management, financial tracking , and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Birst, or similar systems).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report on complex data.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Solid understanding of IT budgeting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable using or learning IT reporting tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, procurement, and finance.
- Company sponsored continuing education may be required.
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
- Office environment, with occasional travel to vendor sites or manufacturing locations as needed.
- Occasional lifting of office materials or equipment (up to 20 pounds).
