Endodontics Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our dental practice as an assistant in endodontics. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a specialized field of dentistry, with the potential for a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Assist the endodontist during procedures, including root canals and other complex dental treatments.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials for patient care.
• Ensure the operatory is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.

Schedule

• Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Wednesdays: 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Occasional Saturdays: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Compensation

• The pay rate for this position is $26 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of dental experience required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures.
• Basic understanding of dental terminology is a plus but not required.
