We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our dental practice as an assistant in endodontics. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a specialized field of dentistry, with the potential for a permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Assist the endodontist during procedures, including root canals and other complex dental treatments.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials for patient care.
- Ensure the operatory is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
The position requires availability on the following days:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Wednesdays: 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Occasional Saturdays: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
The pay rate for this position is $26 per hour.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 months of dental experience required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures.
- Basic understanding of dental terminology is a plus but not required.
