Capital Dental Group is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Assistant (DA) to join our team. Candidates must work well in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service. If you are a DA looking for a rewarding career, this position is for you!

Job Summary

As a DA at Capital Dental Group, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dental care to our patients while working alongside our providers and team. You will utilize your functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations in the delivery of high-quality dental care. This position requires technical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

• Protect patient privacy by adhering to HIPAA protocols.
• Prepare Patients for treatment or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional patient experience.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures.
• Assist the dentist with comprehensive dental care.
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room well-stocked
• Take digital X-rays as needed
  
  

Requirements

• Current DA Certification
• CPR Certification
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a DA(preferred)
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Proficiency in taking dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Detail-oriented
• Team player
  
  

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day
• Ability to twist and turn, if needed
• Repetitive Motion (hands)
• Handling (grasping, holding)
• Lifting/Carrying (up to 10lbs)
• Pushing/Pulling (up to 10lbs)
  
  

Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday

This is a full-time position working 4/10-hour days, either from 8am-6pm or 7am-6pm.

Pay: $17.50-$23.00 per hour + monthly bonus opportunity up to $500
