We're looking for Dental Assistants, who are driven, patient-centric, and brand ambassadors for our dental practice located in Smithtown, NY. The ideal candidates will have experience in the field of dentistry and a commitment to grow and innovate to best serve our patients. You'll be responsible for preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials, as well as compliantly delivering procedures and protocols.

- Monday: 9AM - 6PM
- Tuesday: 9AM – 6PM
- Wednesday: 10AM - 6PM
- Thursday: 9AM - 5PM
- Saturday: 9AM – 3PM
- Assist in providing a safe, comforting, and welcoming exam room atmosphere
- Sterilize and deliver instruments to treatment area, position and pass instruments and materials, suction, and expose/develop radiographic studies
- Pour, trim, and polish study casts and removable appliances
- Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calling for repairs
- Capture and interpret x-rays
- Track inventory levels, anticipate needed supplies, and verify receipt of supplies
- Document dental care services by charting in patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Diploma or certificate from an approved Dental Assistant program as accredited by CODA (preferred)
- Current NY DA license, or DANB CDA in NY, ICE & RHS Certifications (preferred)
- CPR Certification
- Minimum 1 year of dental office experience (required)
- Previous dental assistance experience (preferred)
- Denticon dental software knowledge (a plus)
- Spanish/English bilinguancy (preferred)
- 1 phone interview
- 1 in-person interview
