Your Schedule
- Monday-Thursday: 9AM-6PM
- Friday: 9AM-5PM
- Saturday: 9AM-3PM (two Saturdays per month)
Your Role as a Dental Assistant
- Create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for patients
- Assist dentists chairside during procedures, passing instruments and supporting patient comfort
- Take and process digital x-rays
- Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
- Pour, trim, and polish study casts and removable appliances
- Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance
- Track supplies and ensure operatories are stocked and organized
- Document patient services accurately in digital records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, aftercare, and preventive practices
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Certificate from a CODA-accredited dental assisting program (preferred)
- Current NY DA license, or DANB CDA, ICE & RHS certifications (preferred)
- CPR certification
- At least 1 year of dental assisting experience (required)
- Denticon software knowledge (a plus)
- Bilingual Spanish/English (preferred)
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and a patient-first mindset
