Position Summary

We are seeking a Dental Assistant - Prosth. The Prosthodontist Dental Assistant works under a dentist’s supervision to prepare equipment, assist during procedures, and perform duties like removing sutures, processing x-rays, and taking oral impressions.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Prosthodontist
• Assist in patient care, office, and lab duties, including chair-side assistance
• Ensure patient comfort, prepare for procedures, and manage records
• Hand instruments, keep mouths dry, sterilize instruments, and prepare materials
• Take dental x-rays, process film, and assist with radiological procedures
• Perform office duties: scheduling, billing, receiving payments, ordering supplies
• Assist in specialty areas like oral surgery, periodontics, prosthodontics, implantology
• Support hygienists and manage inventory

Working Conditions

• Work in a clean, well-lit environment near dental chairs
• Wear protective gear; follow safety procedures for x-ray use

Experience

• Certified Dental Assistant (ADA)
• At least 2 years of experience, implant experience preferred
• Reliable, team-oriented, good manual dexterity, CPR certified

Physical Requirements

• Work at desks, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, stand, and perform precise movements

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly range: $20 - $25. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), flexible spending, disability, life insurance, and more.
