More about the role

• Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history for quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures, following state dental practice act.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment rooms adhering to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and inventory, including placing orders.
• Partner with the team to implement systems and maximize workflow.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards, with HIPAA training.

Preferred Experience

• 1+ years in a dental setting.
• Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.
• Dental assisting school certification.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform duties with or without accommodations.
• Prolonged sitting and standing.
• Lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
• Availability for periodic training sessions.
• TB test required before employment, except in FL & TN.
