Dental Care of Minneola is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team. Practice will consider a new dental assistant graduate!
Work Schedule: No Weekends!
- Monday Off
- Tuesday 7:30am-5pm
- Wednesday 9:30am-7pm
- Thursday 7:30am-5pm
- Friday 6:30am-4:00pm

Role Responsibilities
- Greet and educate patients from their first visit, ensuring comfort throughout treatment
- Review patient health history for quality care
- Take and process X-rays and diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.)
- Assist dentists chairside during procedures in accordance with state dental practice act
- Use Dentrix for scheduling and records
- Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines
- Manage supplies and inventory, place orders as needed
- Collaborate with team to implement systems and optimize workflow

Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Dental assistant and/or X-ray certification as required by state law
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Understanding of HIPAA and data safeguards
Preferred Experience
- 1+ years in a dental setting
- Experience with Dentrix or similar software
- Dental assisting certification
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform duties with or without accommodations
- Prolonged sitting and standing
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Availability for periodic training sessions
- TB test required prior to employment (not applicable in FL & TN)
