Dental Care of Minneola is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team. Practice will consider a new dental assistant graduate!

Work Schedule: No Weekends!

• Monday Off
• Tuesday 7:30am-5pm
• Wednesday 9:30am-7pm
• Thursday 7:30am-5pm
• Friday 6:30am-4:00pm

Role Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients from their first visit, ensuring comfort throughout treatment
• Review patient health history for quality care
• Take and process X-rays and diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.)
• Assist dentists chairside during procedures in accordance with state dental practice act
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines
• Manage supplies and inventory, place orders as needed
• Collaborate with team to implement systems and optimize workflow

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Dental assistant and/or X-ray certification as required by state law
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Understanding of HIPAA and data safeguards

Preferred Experience

• 1+ years in a dental setting
• Experience with Dentrix or similar software
• Dental assisting certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform duties with or without accommodations
• Prolonged sitting and standing
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Availability for periodic training sessions
• TB test required prior to employment (not applicable in FL & TN)
