Wednesday 7:30am-5:00pm
Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm

More about the role
- Greet and assist patients, ensuring comfort and providing education throughout treatment
- Review patient health history for quality care
- Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.)
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures in accordance with state dental practice act
- Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
- Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines
- Manage supplies and inventory, and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with team to implement Heartland Dental systems and improve workflow

Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Dental assistant and/or x-ray certification, if required by state law
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to protect patient information and complete HIPAA training
Preferred Experience
- 1+ years of dental experience
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software
- Dental assisting certification from a recognized program
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform duties with or without accommodations
- Prolonged sitting and standing
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Availability for periodic training sessions
- A TB test is required prior to employment, except in FL & TN.
