Dental Assistant - Full Time Position (Monday 7:30am - 2:00pm, Tuesday 8:30am - 7:00pm, Wednesday 8:30am - 2pm, and Thursday 8:30am - 7:00pm; No Fridays or Weekends)
Salary range $24-$28/hr based on experience + Benefits!

More about the role

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, ensuring patient comfort and providing education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history thoroughly to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
• Provide superior chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) during procedures in accordance with state dental practice act.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms adhering to safety protocols, OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed.
• Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize workflow.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle PHI responsibly, with regular HIPAA training.

Preferred Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a dental setting.
• Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.
• Dental assisting school certification.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Prolonged sitting and standing.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
• Availability for periodic training sessions.
• A TB test is required prior to employment, except in FL & TN.
