Dental Assistant
Dental Care of Eagle Valley is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

- Full-time; Monday/Tuesday 7:30-5:30; Wednesday 8:30-5:30; Thursday 7:00-5:00; Long weekends!

Experience
- 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant preferred; training available for no experience.
- Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.
- Dental assisting school certification preferred.
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
- Passion for learning and career growth in dentistry.
- Open, positive, flexible mindset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Access to minimum PHI necessary for work; regular HIPAA training required; must protect PHI and data safeguards.

More about the role
- Greet and educate patients throughout their dental journey.
- Review patient health history for quality care.
- Take and process x-rays and assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures, adhering to state laws.
- Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
- Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
- Manage supplies and inventory, place orders as needed.
- Collaborate to implement Heartland Dental systems and improve workflow.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
