Dental Care of Eagle Valley is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

  • Full-time; Monday/Tuesday 7:30-5:30; Wednesday 8:30-5:30; Thursday 7:00-5:00; Long weekends!

Experience

  • 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant preferred; training available for no experience.
  • Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.
  • Dental assisting school certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Passion for learning and career growth in dentistry.
  • Open, positive, flexible mindset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Access to minimum PHI necessary for work; regular HIPAA training required; must protect PHI and data safeguards.

More about the role

  • Greet and educate patients throughout their dental journey.
  • Review patient health history for quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays and assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
  • Provide chairside assistance during procedures, adhering to state laws.
  • Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
  • Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
  • Manage supplies and inventory, place orders as needed.
  • Collaborate to implement Heartland Dental systems and improve workflow.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Prolonged sitting and standing.
  • Lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
  • Attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically.
  • A TB test is required prior to employment, except in FL & TN.
