Dental Assistant

Dental Care at Madera Vista is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

• Full-time; Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30; Friday 7:30-1:00; No weekends!

Experience

• 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant required
• Experience with Dentrix or other dental software
• Dental assisting school certification and RHS certification in AZ required
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
• Experience with 3D scanning
• Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, adaptable, and team-oriented
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must complete HIPAA training and protect PHI as per role requirements

More about the role

• Greet and assist patients, ensuring comfort and providing education
• Review patient health histories for quality care
• Take and process X-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography)
• Provide chairside assistance during various procedures, adhering to state dental practice laws
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines
• Manage supplies and inventory, place orders as needed
• Collaborate with team to implement systems and optimize workflow

• Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations
