Dental Assistant
Dental Care at Madera Vista is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

- Full-time; Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30; Friday 7:30-1:00; No weekends!

Experience
- 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant required
- Experience with Dentrix or other dental software
- Dental assisting school certification and RHS certification in AZ required
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
- Experience with 3D scanning
- Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, adaptable, and team-oriented
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must complete HIPAA training and protect PHI as per role requirements

More about the role
- Greet and assist patients, ensuring comfort and providing education
- Review patient health histories for quality care
- Take and process X-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography)
- Provide chairside assistance during various procedures, adhering to state dental practice laws
- Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
- Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines
- Manage supplies and inventory, place orders as needed
- Collaborate with team to implement systems and optimize workflow

Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations
- Prolonged sitting and standing
- Lift and carry up to 45 pounds
- Availability for periodic virtual or in-person training sessions
- TB test required prior to employment, arranged during pre-employment (not required in FL & TN)
