Dental Assistant – Redwing Dental Care

Antioch, Illinois

$22.00–$26.00/hour (based on experience)

Redwing Dental Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team! We value a fast learner with a strong work ethic who can work independently and collaboratively. If you are passionate about helping others and eager to grow, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of dental assisting experience preferred; training available for the right candidate
  • Experience with Dentrix and iTero software is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

  • Monday & Thursday: 6:45 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Tuesday & Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 6:30 PM

Full-time, consistent hours

Role Responsibilities:

  • Greet and support patients throughout their dental experience
  • Review patient health history for quality care
  • Take and process X-rays and diagnostic assessments
  • Assist dentists chairside during procedures
  • Use Dentrix for scheduling and records
  • Prepare treatment rooms adhering to safety protocols
  • Manage supplies and inventory
  • Collaborate with team to optimize workflow

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Experience in fast-paced, customer-focused settings
  • Dental assistant and x-ray certification (if required by state)
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to protect patient information and comply with HIPAA

Preferred Experience:

  • Over 1 year of dental experience
  • Experience with Dentrix or similar software
  • Dental assisting certification

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations
  • Prolonged sitting and standing
  • Lift and carry up to 45 pounds
  • Availability for periodic training sessions
  • TB test required prior to employment (except in FL & TN)
