Overview
Dental Care at Madera Vista is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

- Full-time; Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30; Friday 7:30-1:00; No weekends

Experience and Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant is required
- Dentrix or other dental software experience
- Dental assisting school certification and RHS certification in AZ required
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Experience in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
- Experience with 3D scanning
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail, adaptable, and team-oriented
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Access to minimum PHI necessary for job functions; regular HIPAA training required; ability to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients, support patient comfort, and provide education throughout treatment
- Review patient health history to provide quality care
- Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.)
- Provide superior chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to supported dentists
- Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
- Prepare treatment rooms with safety protocols in line with OSHA and CDC recommendations
- Manage supply and inventory levels; place and expedite orders as needed
- Collaborate with providers and the team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow

Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
- Occasional attendance at virtual or in-person training sessions
- TB test is required for all new hires in dental office positions (test arranged during pre-employment). Not applicable in FL & TN
