The Opportunity

This role has the unique opportunity to support the Heroes who actively serve the children and young people in our communities by improving their overall health and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Exhaust all efforts to provide the best patient experience
  • Support optimized schedules with effective open treatment calls on a regular basis with a goal of educating patient guardians on the importance and urgency of pending treatment
  • Take and assist with diagnostic radiographs and intraoral pictures (periapical, bitewings, panoramic)
  • Use dental documentation software to locate and accurately manage patient records
  • Provide behavior management following guidelines approved by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Dental Board)
  • Ensure the practice is clean and presentable to patients (cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, etc.)
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the business and mission

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a dental office
  • Proficient with hygiene and operative instruments and understanding their proper use
  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire for professional growth
  • Be organized with a solid knowledge of dentistry

Physical Requirements

This position requires full range of body motion. The employee may sit, walk, stand, talk, hear, use hands to operate standard office equipment, reach with arms, and lift up to 25 pounds.
