The Dental Assistant (RDA) provides essential support in delivering quality dental care. This role includes patient care, assisting with various dental procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
o Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure their comfort.
o Educate patients on oral health practices to help them maintain good dental hygiene
Dental Procedures:
o Assist the dentist during procedures such as fillings, extractions, and Root Canal Therapy.
o Handle instruments, provide suctioning, and ensure patients are positioned correctly during treatments.
o Taking diagnostic X-rays
Instrument Preparation:
o Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Administrative Tasks:
o Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
o Provide post-operative instructions to patients to ensure proper recovery.

Qualifications:
- Radiation Safety Certification
- 8 hours Infection Control Certification
- Current CPR certification (BLS or ACLS).
- Previous experience in a dental setting preferred.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in assisting with dental procedures and performing hygiene tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team environment.
