Dental Assistant Full-Time - OHIO KIDS DENTAL (HAMILTON)

Qualifications



  • CERTIFICATIONS: CDA or RDA required, X-ray certification, coronal polishing, sealant polishing & nitrous certification

  • EXPERIENCE: Must have Dental Assistant certification



Employment Details



  • JOB TYPE: Full-time/Part-time

  • SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday

  • PAY: Starting at $22.00 per hour depending on certifications; additional increases for experience

  • BONUS PAY: Up to $500 additional per month

Essential Job Functions



  1. Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties

  2. Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)

  3. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment

  4. Take impressions of the teeth (models), assist with extractions, composite fillings, etc.

  5. Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies and nutritional counseling

  6. Review patient medical history and take blood pressure and pulse

  7. Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment

  8. Provide post-treatment oral care instructions
