Dental Assistant Job at Global Force USA in Houston

Overview

This position has two phases: Phase 1 is per diem (1 day up to weeks); Phase 2 is Direct Hire.

Responsibilities

• Place and finish dental restorations (fillings) after the dentist prepares the tooth
• Take accurate impressions for temporary crowns, bridges, and diagnostic models
• Fabricate and place temporary crowns and bridges
• Perform coronal polishing and fluoride treatments
• Apply sealants and desensitizing agents as directed
• Assist the dentist during procedures, including restorative, prosthodontic, and endodontic treatments
• Take and process radiographs
• Maintain proper infection control and sterilization standards
• Provide clear post-treatment instructions to patients
• Charts treatment notes accurately and assist with updating patient records
• Monitor inventory and prepare trays for procedures
• Support front office team with patient flow and case coordination when needed

Qualifications

• EFDA credential (expanded functions dental assistant) under the supervision of dentists
