Gen4 Dental Partners is hiring: Dental Assistant in North Muskegon

Overview

Dental Assistants are an integral member of our team and help foster a clinically led culture. From being the doctor’s right hand to connecting with patients and striving to provide the best patient experience, Dental Assistants are a key contributor to the success of our practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
• X-ray certification where state regulations specify

Compensation & Benefits

• Work-Life Balance: Monday-Thursday 7:40AM-5PM, 2nd and 4th Friday of the month 7:40AM-1PM

Working Environment

This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, bending, and the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
