Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough diagnostics and perform repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Perform hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Utilize advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities to address mechanical issues.
• Perform light fabrication and welding as needed.
• Work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Travel across the U.S. for on-site field service work

Job Details:

• Starting at $40 per hour
• All travel accommodations and lodging covered
• Company-provided service truck and specialty tools

· Steady work schedule with built-in time off (26 days on / 10 days off)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough diagnostics and perform repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Utilize advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities to address mechanical issues.
• Perform light fabrication and welding as needed.
• Work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Travel to customer locations to perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on heavy equipment, cranes, and commercial vehicles.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems.
• Use diagnostic software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Perform services such as hydraulic system repairs, engine overhauls, brake repairs, and more.
• Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance services.
• Maintain a well-organized service vehicle with all necessary tools and equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed to high standards and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers, explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly.
• Keep detailed records of services performed and parts used.
• Must bring your own basic hand tools (chrome sockets, impacts, etc.)
• Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Crane Technician, or Mobile Mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment systems, including hydraulics, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools (e.g., Caterpillar ET, Cummins Insite, John Deere Service ADVISOR, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Own a set of basic tools (specialized tools and diagnostic equipment will be provided).
• Certifications: ASE, or other relevant certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
