Description

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Riverdale. If you have hands-on experience with heavy-duty trucks and a passion for diagnostics and repair, we want to hear from you.

Position Overview

As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll perform inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide variety of equipment, including:

• Heavy-duty Class 8 diesel trucks (Mack, Kenworth, Peterbilt)
• Rear-end loaders, front-end loaders, roll-offs, tractors, and box trucks
• Skid steers, forklifts, wheel loaders
• Hydraulic systems
• Occasional metal fabrication and welding (as needed)

Additional responsibilities include:

• Completing service documentation and paperwork
• Performing occasional road calls
• Ensuring work complies with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards

Requirements

• 2-5 years of diesel or truck repair experience
• Experience with Mack, Kenworth, and Peterbilt trucks
• Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Must have your own tools
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
• Strong mechanical aptitude

Preferred:

• CDL-B license
• Welding experience
• ABS diagnostic experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
