Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic Technician

Location: Midland, TX

Reports to: Lead Mechanic

TNT Crane & Rigging Inc. is looking to add an experienced full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic Technician to our Midland branch. This role involves maintenance and repairs on cranes and other heavy equipment, both in the field and at the shop, following all state and federal laws and safety/environmental policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on cranes and other heavy equipment
• Inspect equipment for safety and reliability; diagnose issues and implement effective solutions
• Perform work in-field and in the shop while adhering to safety and environmental policies
• Follow all applicable laws and regulations when operating vehicles

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Trade school diploma preferred
• 3-7 years of experience performing maintenance and repairs on hydraulic cranes
• Current Texas Department of Public Safety Class C Driver’s License

Skills

• Ability to interpret, read, and write reports in English
• Mechanical and analytical skills
• Ability to interpret, read, and troubleshoot using schematics
• Ability to prioritize, organize work, and meet deadlines
• Ability to operate a crane by following hand signals
