This role will be responsible for the maintenance and appearance of attractions. The Mechanic will assist with repairing and maintaining attractions and related equipment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and performance checks on go-karts and tracks
• Maintain go-kart performance and equipment
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure attractions are in top condition
• Keep accurate records of repairs and inventory
• Follow scheduled preventative maintenance
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with track operations and general maintenance tasks
• Read and interpret technical manuals and diagnostics
• Perform facility cleaning and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED; auto mechanic training or 6 months related experience preferred
• Availability on weekends is required
• Experience with mechanical repairs in go-kart, golf cart, or motorcycle fields preferred
• Ability to use multi-meters and read technical manuals

Physical Requirements

• Work in a noisy, fast-paced environment
• Stand, kneel, bend, and move around the facility for long periods
• Lift, push, or pull up to 300 lbs with assistance
• Wear personal protective equipment as needed
