Call Center Representative

Location: East Syracuse, NY

Pay Range: $16-19

Our customer base consists of end users of our equipment. We are considered 'the factory' and are the manufacturers of heating and cooling equipment. We sell the equipment to a distributor, who then sells to a dealer or contractor. The dealer or contractor installs it in the customer's home. Instead of the homeowner contacting the dealer directly, they will call us for assistance. We also assist dealers in finding their distributor for parts or technical support.

What we help with:

• Dealer referrals - connecting customers with a dealer for sales or service, with warm transfer
• Connecting homeowners with the appropriate dealer
• Providing warranty information
• Product comparison
• Referring dealers to distributors
• Acting as a switchboard for the company, using a database to refer customers to the correct department
• Triaging customer complaints to Tier 2 representatives
• Triaging remote access or Wi-Fi products such as thermostats

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Typing speed of 35-45 words per minute
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High School Diploma
