As a J&J Cleaning Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the strategic direction of onsite cleaning operations within the Cleaning Services function. Your role involves ensuring the cleanliness of client and company buildings.

Shift: Days

What You’ll Do:

  1. Provide supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruitment.
  2. Manage daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track deadlines, and mentor team members.
  3. Implement best practice initiatives and innovations to keep the location at the forefront of cleaning and operational practices.
  4. Plan all cleaning operations, including periodic tasks, with clear schedules and sign-offs.
  5. Focus on team training and development to promote good working practices.
  6. Support the business and clients in service-related and contractual matters.
  7. Manage cleaning feedback or complaints from start to resolution.
  8. Approve payroll and maintain labor levels to optimize costs.
  9. Conduct daily site audits to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  10. Ensure compliance with KPIs/SLAs and address any non-compliance professionally with clear action plans.
  11. Lead by example, embodying J&J values, and influence stakeholders to reach agreements.
  12. Apply disciplinary knowledge effectively and collaborate across disciplines to meet objectives.
  13. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 3-5 years of relevant experience; experience and education may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to fulfill physical requirements, including lifting/carrying loads of 50 lbs or more.
  • Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strong communication skills for handling sensitive and complex information.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and improve team performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a curious mindset.
  • Advanced math skills for financial calculations.

The salary range for this position is $80,500 - $140,000, with potential eligibility for various benefits including medical, wellness, financial planning, and incentives.
