This position is responsible for the operation of tools and equipment in various customer work sites for industrial and environmental cleaning.

Job Function

This role involves operating tools and equipment at customer sites for cleaning services.

Essential Functions

1. Adhere strictly to MPW Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
2. Arrive on time, in uniform, properly groomed, alert, and physically able to work. Follow the work schedule.
3. Set up the jobsite, including water blast hoses, vacuum hoses, barricades, and tags.
4. Operate equipment such as water blast guns, water lances, vacuums, shovels, picks, automated tooling, aerial lifts, and others as needed.
5. Clean equipment before returning to the branch.
6. Show initiative in completing assigned tasks.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

1. Maintain a valid ID for access to customer sites.
2. Experience with equipment or maintenance environments preferred.
3. Experience in manual labor outdoors preferred.
4. 2-3 years of hands-on experience with tools or heavy equipment preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs., with or without accommodations.
• Perform manual labor consistently.
• Maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
• Work in confined spaces as needed.
• Wear respirators in environments with chemicals or fumes.
• Travel to various states for days or weeks, with shifts possibly exceeding 8 hours.
