Overview
Join to apply for the Lab Cleaning Technician role at Labcorp in Madison, WI. This entry-level role requires no experience, just an interest in working in a laboratory setting in our animal ops department.
Responsibilities
- Manages the washroom area by prioritizing workload and equipment to be washed.
- Organizes and maintains clean equipment in appropriate locations.
- Maintains well documented laboratory records according to SOPs & GLPs. Reviews other equipment service technician data and identifies potential problems.
- Provides and maintains inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Provides occasional animal care support.
- Reports all animal care concerns and becomes involved in the resolution and appropriate corrective action, when necessary.
- Maintain safe work environment.
Preferred Experience
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Cleaning Experience: kennel /animal setting, Vet clinic/Hospital, or commercial setting.
- Animal Care Experience: Demonstrated proficiency or expressed comfort in working with animals in a hands-on care environment.
- Additional Related Experiences: Any other relevant cleaning experiences or certifications related to the position.
- Work History: Demonstrated ability to maintain a structured and dependable work record, with 6 months to 1 year of consistent work experience preferred.
Required Education and Experience
- Education: Education recommended (not required).
- Basic Computer skills.
- No experience required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be able to speak, read, write English.
- Overtime and weekend work as required.
