Cleaning and Restoration Technician Job Summary:

Assist in retaining customers by fulfilling the company’s obligations through the timely and effective delivery of restoration services.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills; ability to determine appropriate equipment type and quantity.
• Proficiency in basic computer use, email, and reporting tools.
• Preferably 1 year of floor cleaning experience or related specialty cleaning (e.g., stripping & waxing, air duct cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, upholstery cleaning).
• Highly desired certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).

Additional Certifications (Preferred but not required):

• Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT)
• Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT)
• Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)
• Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD)
• Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS)
• Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician (FSRT)

Responsibilities:

• Perform carpet and floor cleaning and restoration services effectively.
• Complete all documentation and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
• Inspect work and ensure quality standards.
• Maintain tools, supplies, and inventory.
• Be willing to learn and utilize new industry equipment and technology.
• Maintain professional standards and accountability.

Note: Compensation varies based on experience and certifications. Hourly rates increase with experience; certifications in water mitigation, mold, trauma scene, and asbestos can lead to higher pay and potential commissions.
