An opportunity is available for a skilled Social Worker specializing in healthcare to support students in an educational setting. This role provides a chance to engage in meaningful early childhood assessment, contributing to the well-being and development of young learners.

Location: Chicago, IL
Position Type: Contract to Hire, Full-time (8:00 AM 3:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate as a member of the early childhood assessment team
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings to support student needs
  • Collaborate with educational staff to develop appropriate intervention plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with policies

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Social Worker endorsement required
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) necessary
  • Experience in early childhood assessment or healthcare-related social work strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, families, and school personnel
