Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare social worker position is available in the Waukegan, IL area, supporting early childhood assessment within a school setting. This contract-to-hire role involves working with young children through evaluations and screenings, contributing to a compassionate and effective care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings for early childhood assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support children's developmental needs
- Document findings and assist in creating individualized care or education plans
- Maintain communication with families and relevant stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Valid Social Work (SW) endorsement
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Experience or interest in early childhood assessment preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Position located in Waukegan, Illinois
