Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare social worker position is available within an early childhood assessment team, offering a contract-to-hire opportunity in the Arlington Heights, IL area. This role focuses on conducting evaluations and screenings for young children, providing critical support within the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and screenings as part of the early childhood assessment team.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support childrens social and emotional development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up on assessment outcomes.
- Assist in developing individualized care and intervention plans.
- Provide guidance and resources to families to enhance child well-being.
Qualifications:
- Valid Social Worker (SW) endorsement.
- Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Experience working with children and families in educational or healthcare environments is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Located in Arlington Heights, IL.
