Job Description & Requirements

Social Worker

StartDate: 8/11/2025 Pay Rate: $1800.00 - $2600.00

POSITION SUMMARY – Social Worker

POSITION DUTIES – Discharge patients to long term facilities and navigate community resources; Utilization review duty; May float between units

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS – LMSW or LCSW - licensed in NC; BLS; 1 year Social Work experience in a hospital setting; North Carolina experience; Utilization review duty experience; Well-versed in placement of long term patients, APS, & CPS; Ability to discharge patients to long term facilities and navigate community resources.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS – 3-5 years Social Work experience in a hospital setting

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT – 13 weeks

SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK – 7:30A - 4:00P with rotating weekends (40hrs/wk)

SYSTEMS – Paragon

START DATE – ASAP
